Montepulciano DOC

Our vineyards sweep across the rolling hills of Bucchianico and Chieti and are a true spectacle for our visitors to enjoy, as they are located within a natural amphitheatre surrounded by woods, olive trees and wheat fields.

Every year, CantinArte produces just a few thousand bottles of Montepulciano d’ Abruzzo wine and extra virgin olive oil, determinedly adhering to the notion of “natural product”, which means: * shunning weedkillers, burndown herbicides or fertilisers, * using only a few products selected from those permitted in organic farming, * picking grapes and olives by hand.

Rossopuro Montepulciano d'Abruzzo D.O.C. is our wine, an important wine highly appreciated by gourmet restaurants, delicatessens and Michelin star-rated restaurants.

Rossopuro Montepulciano d'Abruzzo D.O.C. is an intense wine made from a vineyard selection of Montepulciano grapes produced by 40-year-old vines on clay-loam soil. After fermentation, the wine matures in small oak casks for 18 months.
